How does a young start-up position itself successfully in the HR consulting field against long-established industry leaders? e.g. by developing a web-based platform for 360-degree feedbacks!

This was the start of the project vieconnect that PIXELit  successfully carried out for the Vienna based consulting firm vieconsult GmbH.

vieconnect is a customized web app that forms the basis for the process of so-called 360° feedback. 360° feedbacks are used for assessment of executives from different perspectives, e.g. from the perspective of employees, manager, etc. vieconnect supports this entire process and carries a very high degree of automation in it.

2012 vieconnect was nominated for Constantinus Award in the category ”Special Prize International Projects“.

securemail

Sending confidential files via email is about as useful as writing a secret message on a postcard. In order to assure secure file transfers with clients SecureMail was developed. With this tool files are uploaded to a server via an encrypted connection. On the server the files are securely stored and can then be obtained through means of code later by the client.

The implementation used HTML5, DoJo and Zend Framework and was developed in cooperation with namestnik web media.

AIDS-Hilfe Styria

The goal of the relaunch of the website of the AIDS-Hilfe Styria was to modernize the more than 10 years old face. In addition the site should be expanded to include a small shop, an internal section and a fundraising opportunity.

To loosen up the page visually, images of the Aidscampagne of BZgA 2006 – 2008 were included on some pages. We want to thank them for allowing to use the motives. The menu was divided into two areas to emphasize the most important information. PIXELit was responsible for the project design, concept and content while the namestnik web media page based on eZ Publish programmed.

vieconsult

The website of the Vienna-based research and consulting firm vieconsult presents the company in a modern and off the beaten consulting clichés way. The central focus lies on the portfolio and vieconsults customers. In addition the site shows the company and their main focuses.

To make the maintenance of the bilingual website as simple as possible, all content and images are loaded dynamically from the CMS and can therefore be easily maintained by the customer.

KLM Gastro

The company KLM GesmbH specializes in custom solutions in the catering industry, as well as refrigeration and kitchen exhaust hoods. The purpose of the website is to present the wide range of devices in an online product catalog to existing and potential customers. In addition, you will find information about the company, the team, and references.

PIXELit was responsible for the design of the website. The CMS has been implemented by namestnik web media.

Asian Design Furniture

Asia Design Furniture is a specialist in exceptional design furnitures. Accordingly the website should also be something special. The page was designed by Verena Artinger and then implemented by PIXELit with Flash.

To simplify the regular maintenance for the customer, all content and images are loaded dynamically from a CMS. This site shows in a lovely way that websites with CMS system don’t all have to look alike.

Building Progress Basilika

A special section was set up on the homepage of the Cistercian Monastery Rein to accompany the renovation online. Part of this section is the animation “Building Progress Basilika”, which represents a timeline of renovation work. The timeline is periodically updated with the latest data and informs donors and visitors about the status of the construction work.

BlossomGold

With harmonious images, smooth animations and personal texts, this page introduces the Golden Retriever breeding blossomGold.
Since especially during a new litter changes to the site happen frequently, all texts and images are loaded dynamically from a CMS. This enables the customers to change all texts and images themselves, for example to add a new gallery.
To inhance the usability of the site this flashpage is programmed to support the browsers ‘back’ and ‘forward’ navigation and to deep link to a sub section of the site.

donate future

To raise money for children in India the homepage zukunftschenken.at was launched. For the campaign in the year 2009/2010 PIXELit created an animation with “Q the cow”. The microsite explains in 30 seconds the idea behind the campaign and aims to encourage visitors to donate.

Kirchenpresse

To promote the exchange of articles and series between the 10 Austrian church newspapers, the platform “Kirchenpresse” was developed. The web app allows the newspapers to announce scheduled items in a simple way and to show interest in articles of other papers. Published articles can then be downloaded from the platform. The charging between the newspapers works via a credit system.

Project management, concept and design were developed by PIXELit. The web app is based on the Zend Framework and has been implemented in cooperation with namestnik web media.
